“Ashley was incredible to work with from beginning to end! From the start, during my trial appointment, I felt at ease with her. She was relaxed and listened to what I was envisioning my hair to look like for my wedding day. She managed to take my short, fine, and thin hair and sweep it into this beautiful updo. I still to this day don't know how she managed to do this, but it was all I needed to convince me that she was the one that I needed to entrust to do my hair for my big day. “After exchanging a few messages on Instagram to talk about my vision, we set up a trial session for a few weeks later. Ashley's home studio was chic, yet comfortable. During our consultation, we talked more about my hair needs, my hair woes, and she came up with a beautiful braided up-do that perfectly incorporated my hair piece and veil. She was friendly, yet professional the entire way through. Of course, I had to book her right away! On the day of the wedding, she came straight to my hotel room to do both my hair, and the hair of a few of my bridesmaids. The schedule was executed perfectly, we were all on time if not early and we had built in time for touch ups.
“I planned with Ashley about 6 months out and luckily she was available ! Working with Ashley was very easy from the the beginning. I did not have to commit to the number of total people until it got closer which gave me some flexibility as I was not sure who in my family besides the bridal party would want their hair done. She sent me a draft schedule about a month out and effortlessly coordinated with the makeup team to deconflict the morning of schedule before the ceremony. The schedule was executed perfectly, we were all on time if not early and we had built in time for touch ups. As the bride, I was very at ease knowing everyone was on time for the ceremony! As for our hair styles!! Everyone did a different look - up, down, and half. Everyone looked great and still looked great at the end of the night. Ashley was able to take all the different Pinterest ideas and make them become a reality. Ashley is well known in the DC area and it was great she was willing to come to Philly for my wedding. I absolutely loved my wedding look and we tweaked it a little bit over time as I couldn’t make up my mind by the time we had the hair trial. I would definitely ask a Ashley to do my hair again for any big event!!”
