“When looking for someone to trust with my wedding and and makeup look, The Stylist Abroad team came highly recommended- but I could not have imagined how wonderful the experience would have been! From first glance at the website and instagram page for The Stylist Abroad, I was drawn to how much LGBTQIA and diverse representation was present in the pictures and posts. And as simple as it sounds, I loved that the inquiry form asks about preferred pronouns. I was also super impressed that they used vegan and cruelty free products! In my first conversation with Ashley, I could see how much she cared about giving each person a wonderful wedding experience that matches their style. After we talked about my style, Ashley was able to find a set of beautiful moon and star hair pieces that perfectly accessorized my updo. Ashley is also very responsive, which was crucial with our short timeline. For the trial and our wedding day, I worked with Katelyn and she is such a talented and wonderful person! Katelyn asked a couple questions about how I pictured my wedding day look and she brought my vision to life. She accentuated all of my favorite features. I felt glamorous and got so many compliments! As amazing as Katelyn’s skill was, the best part was how relaxed and special she made me feel. In all of the wedding day craziness, Katelyn created a peaceful environment and I was able to unwind, chat, and even have some good laughs that helped me get into the perfect mindset to absorb the beauty of the rest of the day.”
